Hayfever getting to you?? Read on and see what Reflexology can do for you.

Receiving regular sessions of reflexology can be effective in reducing the classic symptoms of hay fever such as: runny nose, sneezing, itchy eyes and feeling run down.
Working the entire respiratory system prevents the constant flow of mucus and also prevents it from building up and going onto the chest.
The eyes and ears are stimulated to encourage a continual flow of fluid to flush away and reduce a build up of pollen, and reduce aggravation.
The adrenal glands naturally produce cortisol (our built in anti-inflammatory; commonly known as anti-histamine).  This is historically what we look for in western, over the counter hayfever medication. It works at mediating the histamine and inflammation that occurs during hayfever season. It is the inflammatory response from pollen that causes all the symptoms. As the adrenals play such a vital part in dealing with hayfever, it is essential they continue to work at optimum level. Reflexology can increase cortisol production.
Finally the poor old immune system takes a bashing from all the sneezing and feeling generally grotty.  When the lymphatic system is stimulated it helps remove toxins therefore keeping the immune system clear of attacking forces!!  This in turn allows the immune system to deal with the pollen and its affect on the body.
So don't let it get to you...there is a natural way of dealing with what potentially is a challenging time of year!
